Nathavaram police have arrested eight individuals, including a Bengaluru software engineer, for smuggling high-quality Sheelavathi strain cannabis from Narsipatnam to Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka. The operation, led by ‘lady don’ Gade Renuka, involved procuring ganja from Odisha and distributing it, marking a potential first for smuggling to Sri Lanka via the Andhra-Odisha border.
