A devastating ammonia gas leak at a seafood export unit in Tamil Nadu’s Tiruvallur district has claimed seven lives and left over 40 guest workers hospitalized. The toxic gas spread rapidly through the factory premises, causing severe respiratory distress and other critical symptoms. Emergency services and an NDRF team were deployed to the scene.
