2 dead, over 40 hospitalised after ammonia gas leak at seafood unit in Tamil Nadu’s Tiruvallur district

A devastating ammonia gas leak at a seafood export unit in Tamil Nadu’s Tiruvallur district has claimed seven lives and left over 40 guest workers hospitalized. The toxic gas spread rapidly through the factory premises, causing severe respiratory distress and other critical symptoms. Emergency services and an NDRF team were deployed to the scene.
