A tragic accident claimed the lives of senior IAS officer Mahantesh Bilagi and two family members in Kalaburagi. Their car veered off the road after attempting to avoid a stray dog, leading to the fatal crash. Bilagi, a 2012-batch officer and MD of Karnataka State Minerals Corporation, was en route to a family wedding.
